Being Creative is a vital part of children’s education. Teaching them to draw
develops hand to eye coordination, observation skills and increases their visual
memory; skills that will benefit other subjects and last a lifetime. We believe in
constant praise and encouragement which builds confidence and enables the
children to realise their artistic potential. All of our work is well referenced with both
contemporary and historical artists as well as using ideas, references and resources
from different cultures around the world.

After School Classes

If you are interested in Arty Party running after school art classes from your school,
they are suitable for both Key Stage 1 & 2. We book 10-week terms with 12 children
per class lasting for one hour after school. Each term the children get the chance to
make paintings, drawings from life, 3D work (including clay sculpture), a specialist
technique or craft activity and a fun or seasonal project.

Murals

Giving gloomy grey playgrounds an Arty Party makeover is a great experience and
one that can involve the entire school, from nursery to year 6. We can transform bare
wire fences or block off unwanted attention with fabulously colourful boards painted by
the children to depict any topic of your choice; images from around the world, outer
space, nature, nursery rhymes or myths and legends. A great idea to celebrate after
SATS or at the end of the school year! The children do all the work - we just inspire them!

Our inspirational workshops in school include, painting, printmaking, collage, photography,
sculpture, drawing, murals, mosaics, portraits, still lives, model making, mixed media to
name a few! We can come in and help with Art Weeks or just add a bit of sparkle to your
curriculum looking at contemporary and historical art as well as arts and crafts from around
